I hope this e-mail finds you well.
I have wanted to write this e-mail for quite some time and have finally gotten around to it.
I would like to express my and Laurie's complete satisfaction with the boat we bought (2005 Etap 39S), the entire and lengthy (took me a while to make this happen) sales process as well as delivery and commissioning.
The boat is beautiful, sails like a dream and is a beautiful sight at the dock or on the water.
Being able to meet you personally at the Annapolis Boat Show and discuss our thoughts as well as yours in how to consistently build a high quality boat as well as pros and cons of various options was extremely helpful and rewarding.
As you know we were torn between a Tartan 3700 with its epoxy hull, carbon fiber spars and more traditional looks and the Etap. I think we can agree both are beautiful boats with a lot to offer. Your argument for consistency and synergy of the whole being greater than the sum of constituent parts carried the day for us. We have not been disappointed.
I hope you will share my sentiments with your production associates. I have a company of my own and I fully appreciate how difficult it is to assemble a team able to turn out such a complex product on time and virtually flawless.

Most importantly I wanted to express my deepest gratitude to your US sales staff. They were extremely patient, helpful and absolutely impeccable throughout the buying process. They were great at entertaining every thought and question we had no matter how mundane, and very creative in structuring the transaction in a manner that fit our situation.
The boat yard where we commissioned has been in the business for ever and they have assisted in hundreds of new boat launches. Their manager told me that they have never seen a sales agent spend a whole week of his own time participating in the commissioning process. They were truly favorably impressed and look forward to the next Etap coming in.
Once again thanks to you and your whole team in making this dream comes true. I look forward to visiting your plant in the future and enjoying a cold Belgian beer with you during the visit.
